DoomRL 0.9.9 released... what next?

If you missed the news (how could you?) DoomRL 0.9.9 has been released, and is available for download now! The other news is my 26th birthday today!

DoomRL - Linux, Snapshots and Macintosh possibility

Thanks to Michalis Kamburelis I now have access to daily Linux DoomRL snapshots from SVN, probably also Windows ones soon. This made me wonder, do people want to have access to such a thing?

So finally the new DoomRL website went public, and the new forums are already getting attention. Probably it’s time to announce the revival of this blog, but it would be a big shame to do that with the last post being written 649 days ago, would it?

Breath is just a clock ticking...

Time for a traditional New Year’s post. I’ll split it up into two parts. This is the first “sentimental/pessimistic” part discussing the bloody year 2007 that ended, an “visionary/optimistic” one will follow, praising the new 2008 year that came.

So what has happened on ChaosForge in the year 2007? Not much unfortunately…

I won’t die so easily! This blog seems probably dead by now, I know. Half of the reason is that beacause of Google Summer of Code there weren’t many things happening at ChaosForge, and the other half is probably my own laziness as usual. Yet, I plan to ressurect this blog. I know how much such a statement can fall into vanity however, so “no promises”.
